Honestly, I don’t get why it is so very difficult for people to just write a short reply. It doesn’t take much and very little time nowadays.
If you get a message, if you see and read the message, why can’t you simply type a quick reply? Is that too much to ask for? Especially if it is about a specific time and date. If I offer you an appointment for tomorrow morning, why is it so difficult to just let me know if it works for you or not?
I really don’t understand why so many people don’t find it necessary to reply. It is common courtesy. It takes you almost no time to write a quick “yes I can” or no “I can’t”.
This just annoys me, and I get confronted by this regularly at work. I don’t get it and I find it rather rude and inconsiderate. But that might just be me.
Anyway, if someone asks you if a specific date and time works for you, and you’ve seen the message, just text them back, give them a quick update, even a “I need to check” is perfectly fine. Just don’t let them hang in limbo.
That’s all I got for today, sorry, too tired to write more.
