I have to say something that might make some people angry, but I don’t care.

I judge people by the content of their character. Not by their skin color, gender, sexuality, religion, political views,… and whatever else that is currently being used as a defining factor whether or not you are a good person or a bad person. The only thing I care about it the way you treat me and other people and that is the only deciding factor for me whether I want to spend time with you or not. 

So, now that that is cleared up let me get to the point I want to make. 

There are huge differences between the body of a woman and the body of a man. That is a fact, that is biology and there is nothing anyone can do or say to change that. Period. It is how it is. 

Women have fought for decades to get the rights they now have. To be able to participate in sports and have their own championships. It took them over a century to get the recognition men’s sports already had. It was hard work and they’re still not taken serious by some people but that is not the point. The point is that it was only around 1970 that women finally got their own championships. About a century after they first started to create their own groups to play sports together. That is a long time. 

Now, fifty years later men are allowed to participate in women’s sports. Destroying everything several generations of women had fought so hard for. And people are saying it is no big deal. Nothing will get destroyed. Women should just be fine with it, because the men who are participating identify as women and are taking hormones. And that makes them women. Never mind the physical differences that are still the huge factor they have always been and will always be. This is not okay. 

I don’t care if people are transgender I even use the right pronouns if it is obvious what gender they are going for without a moment’s hesitation. I have no issue with that.

But I do have an issue when people claim that a biological male who claims to be a woman is exactly the same as me. He is not, and he will never be, no matter what he does. He can take hormones, he can have surgeries and still his body will never be the same as mine. 

I’m against women quotas because I feel the best person for the job should get it and I find it insulting as a woman if I get a job and spend the rest of my career wondering if the only reason I got it was because they had to fill a quota and not because I was the best person for that job. 

What I want is fairness and what’s going on right now is no longer fair. What’s going on right now is destroying everything women have fought for and everyone who is screaming about the patriarchy and toxic masculinity should take a moment and rethink why they are against those things but cheer males winning in women’s sports on, because there is a serious flaw in your logic.
