So… they’re thinking about making the vaccine status a criterion whether or not you will get a bed in the intensive care unit if you need it or not if the hospital needs to make a triage… 

The medical association clearly say no, now the politicians are of the opinion that it should not be a decision that is being made by the medical professionals, who know what they are talking about but that it is a decision that should be made by politicians…

So, I would not get treated in the ICU even if I had an accident and it had nothing to do with the vaccines, simply because of my vaccination status, if they get that one through. I think this violates several of my rights. Never mind the fact that I’ve paid health insurance all of my life. I pay a lot of it and I usually use very little of the money I pay into it. And it’s not like I have a choice. Health insurance is mandatory over here and it gets more and more expensive every single year. And now they’re telling me, that they want to make sure that I will not get the treatment I need, because I chose not to get a vaccine that needs yet to prove that it does what everyone claims, and no one can guarantee. Not to forget the taxes I pay that partially also go into health insurance.  

Well, it’s not set in stone yet, but the fact alone that they are even considering this tells me everything I need to know. It will come to this eventually, I am sure of it. 

This is insane. I live in one of the richest, most privileged countries in the world, and yet I feel like a prisoner, slowly but surely all of my rights are taken away from me. Simply because I refuse to take a vaccine. How can this be happening? How is it that two thirds of the country not only let this happen but welcome it, cheer it on, demand it? What happened to freedom of choice? Democracy? Everyone is equal? We accept other people’s opinion? 

I get demonized, discriminated, human rights are taken away from me, because of a medical choice I made concerning myself, a medical choice my doctor even supports. How is it that this no longer counts? Taking a vaccine, taking a medication should be a choice everyone can make for themselves, after getting the necessary information to make an informed choice from a doctor. There is no one fit for all. The state has not the authority nor the medical knowledge to make that choice for every single person in the country. 

People should not get punished for the choices they make for their own body and health. The possibility of refusing lifesaving medical care because of a person’s vaccination status should never even be discussed. It’s inhumane. It’s immoral. It’s cruel. And yet, people still believe the government only wants what’s best for the people, how is that best? How can anyone still believe that?
